Jo Ramsey has been writing since age five, and made up stories to share with her stuffed animals when she was even younger. From middle school through college, she wrote about twenty young adult manuscripts, and has a drawer full of spiral notebooks to prove it. Jo's first published YA novel was Connection, book one in her urban fantasy series Reality Shift, which came out in January 2010 from Jupiter Gardens Press, a small publishing company. Since then, Reality Shift books two and three have also been released, along with The Black Bridge, the first book in Jo's urban fantasy series The Dark Lines, also from Jupiter Gardens. Jo's first YA contemporary novel, Cluing In, will be released in summer 2011 from Featherweight Press. Jo is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and the YA chapter of Romance Writers of America. She enjoys doing visits to area schools to talk about writing and bullying. Jo lives in Massachusetts with her two daughters, her husband, and two cats, one of whom occasionally tries to help her type.
Jo will be posting the first and third Wednesdays of each month on topics surrounding teen bullying, domestic violence, and mental illness.
Now imagine me saying this in my teacher voice, "Everyone say 'hello' to Jo."
