Being authors of YA, that's what we read. A lot. Or obsessively, depending on how you look at it. Sometimes they're un-put-down-able (yes, I realize that's not really a word) and sometimes they're not, but as writers we can learn from them either way. Right?
So what are the latest reads of our members? And what did we think of them?
Julie: CORNERSTONE by Misty Provencher. (Thumbs up)
Kris: SISTERS RED by Jackson Pearce (Werewolves! Thumbs up) and ABRAHAM LINCOLN, VAMPIRE HUNTER by Seth Grahame-Smith (Thumbs WAY up!)
Amy: CLOCKWORK ANGEL by Cassandra Clare (Loved it! Can't wait for Clockwork Prince. And also excited about the Mortal Instruments movie news)
Heather: PRETTY AMY by Lisa Burstein (She's one of my authors so I might be a bit biased, but this book really brings me back to high school)
Nicole: DEAD TO YOU by Lisa McMann (No happy endings, just my kind of book. Absolutely riveting!)
Your turn. What's your latest read (YA or not) and what did you think of it?
