Get Inspiration for your Characters (part two)

Hello all!

Unfortunately I don't have much time to write a lot about the chosen songs today, but basically I chose songs that could be used to find inspiration for your characters in the darkest times of their story. When they are at their lowest point, these are the songs that they would turn to in order to work something out.

I love these songs and I hope you do too. They are quite powerful and give me a lot of inspiration myself when I need to properly understand the emotions that my characters are feeling during a certain point of my manuscript.

The first one is Follow Me by Muse. If you read my last post then you can tell I like Muse.

The second song I would like to share with you is Decode by Paramore. This is the first song I listened to by the band when I was recommended to them by a friend a few years ago. I don't regret taking her advice!

The third song is called 'I know you care' by Ellie Goulding. It makes me slightly emotional every time I listen to it.

The last song is called Skyscraper by Demi Lovato. I warn you now - don't listen to this one without tissues nearby.

I hope you like the songs I chose this week, and next time I shall be providing you with a few happier songs.

P.S: If you haven't checked out my blog recently, I have a new campaign to raise awareness for depression sufferers. It is called the 'Stay Strong and Carry On' campaign and you can read about it here. If you click the page on the top that has the campaign name it will tell you how to get involved.

It would be great if you could get involved and spread the word about it!
