Inspiration for your Characters (part three)

This is the last part in the mini-series that I have been doing that uses music to create inspiration for characters that you may have already created or that you haven't thought of yet.

The following songs are going to focus on the ending of a story, and trying to tie everything together.

1. Fall Out Boy - Light 'em up

This is a fairly new song and Fall Out Boy managed to create a whole album without their fans knowing! They claimed that they were going on hiatus and then produced this wonderful song, which gave their fanbase quite the surprise. Listen to it - I think of it as a kind of 'victory song' or a song that could describe a character's feelings when they are just about to get equilibrium into the story again.

2. Emeli Sande - Wonder

I love this song, because Emeli has such a strong voice and can almost be seen as a character herself. The song is another song about conquering fears and being happy. She talks about a 'contagious light' in this song and this could represent one of your other characters, if it fits the bill.

Take a listen!

3. Ellie Goulding - Explosions

You all know I am crazy for Miss Goulding! This song could be used as an alternative ending for a book, if things were not going to go that well. This song is all about the realisation of something, and letting go. It is a powerful song!

I will be moving away from this next time I write to you all, and you will have something bigger to read!

Hope you all are having a great day, or if you live in England like me, have had a great day.
