Welcome New Blogger, Author Elizabeth Blackwell!

Hello, readers! It's Kate today. I'm very excited to introduce you to our newest blogger, the fabulous Elizabeth Blackwell. We're thrilled to have her joining the site, and if you haven't read WHILE BEAUTY SLEPT, go do it right now.

Elizabeth Blackwell is a former journalist and magazine editor who lives in the Chicago suburbs. WHILE BEAUTY SLEPT, her historical-fiction reimagining of the Sleeping Beauty legend, was published in 2014 by Amy Einhorn Books/Putnam. When she's not writing, she keeps busy chasing after her three children, buying snacks in bulk, and fighting for a parking spot at her local Target.

Elizabeth's work has appeared in several major publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Ladies' Home Journal, Parenting, Chicago magazine, and Chicago Tribute. In 2006, she won Harlequin's "Everlasting Love" writing competition, and her first novel, The Letter, was published by Harlequin, followed by The House of Secrets. She is represented by Danielle Egan-Miller of Brown & Miller Literary Associates. She'll be blogging here at Pub Hub about balancing writing and personal life on first Sundays. She's an imaginative, talented writer, and we're so excited to have her here. If you want to find out more about Eliabeth, check out her interview with Kirkus, and her out her "How I Got My Agent" piece with Writer's Digest. And definitely find her books on Goodreads, get WHILE BEAUTY SLEPT from Barnes and Noble, and follow her on Twitter. And please help me welcome Elizabeth to Pub Hub!
